Although I like and listen to many different styles of music, metal stands above all as one with the most integrity, originality and balls. Art is self-expression, and metal more than any music continues to prove it is about real expression, even at the risk of expulsion by traditional radio station owners and others. Metal is also driven by signs of times, societies and governments, failing of the world to be what it claims it is yet is supposed to be. People rebel and music is a popular form of rebellion. That metal remains still in large part "underground" and ignored by a large segment of music lovers, is even a better reason for it's success and allure to those who appreciate real music and art. At year's end and with new one I applaud over 1,000 of you who have so far come to join and express on MetalMusic.com. You should all be proud of yourselves for hell-raising on site with extreme class - and people here have made new friends and enjoy their freedom to express more boldly and not found on more popular networks.
